Am I the only one who considers it a bad idea to assign meaning to subtly different stylistic elaborations of a mark? Why not chose something unambiguous? E.g., replace the dots with horizontal lines…1 -

OK, I'll take the bait.The first statement is debatable. Arabic script is extremely well suited to semitic languages with their reliance on TRY-CNSNNTL RWTS; not so much for most other languages…3 -

Compared to the new MacBook Pro, the Air handles like a plastic toy. If you're going to spend your whole workday welded to that trackpad, it does matter.1 -
